This idyllic little town is 30km from Trout River Falls, and is a major
tourist attraction with its country shops, hot air ballooning, the birds
of prey centre, horse riding, a hand weaving centre, Flights over the area
and restaurants.
LYDENBURG (town of

The Lydenburg museum where you can see replicas of the Iron Age clay
masks found in the area. (the originals are in the Cape Town Museum).

in the area, get to Graskop and walk to Gods Window, see the Blyde River
Canoyn. continue on to Pilgrims Rest, (120km from TRF) then drive back on
the R533 to Trout River Falls, ready to go fishing in the early evening.
