Take the N12 from Johannesburg, or the N4 from Pretoria, pass Bronkhorstspruit, Witbank and Middelburg, then turn off to Belfast. Turn right in Belfast and take the R540 to Dullstroom, in Dullstroom continue on the R540 for about 31.5km, Trout River Falls is on your left hand side, about 22 km from Lydenburg. This is an ideal stop over if you're heading for the Kruger National Park.
